Commemoration of Human Rights Day

On the occasion of Human Rights Day, the Islamic Human Rights Commission (IHRC) in partnership with UNIC organized a seminar and roundtable discussion entitled “Iranian Society and Universal Human Claims” with participation of Iranian human rights activists, scholars, researchers, lawyers, government officials, university professors and students at the IHCR’s conference room on 14 December 2015.

The seminar began by UNIC Public Information Officer Maria Dotsenko delivering the United Nations Secretary-General’s message for the audience.
Then the speakers delivered speeches on subjects such as new horizons on human rights studies, rights of Iranian children, persons with disability, refugees as well as right to defend, rights of religious minorities and the rights that have been denied from musicians in Iran.
